Ok, so here's this thing that I saw advertised on Current TV. So I think I'll try it out! I will not eat/drink anything over-the-top or alcoholic though. I don't know how to cross things out so I will just put them in italics.
So here we go:
"Here’s a chance for a little interactivity for all the bloggers out there. Below is a list of 100 things that I think every good omnivore should have tried at least once in their life. The list includes fine food, strange food, everyday food and even some pretty bad food - but a good omnivore should really try it all. Don’t worry if you haven’t, mind you; neither have I, though I’ll be sure to work on it. Don’t worry if you don’t recognise everything in the hundred, either; Wikipedia has the answers.
Here’s what I want you to do:
1) Copy this list into your blog or journal, including these instructions.
2) Bold all the items you’ve eaten.
3) Cross out any items that you would never consider eating.
4) Optional extra: Post a comment here at www.verygoodtaste.co.uk linking to your results.

Two weeks away from home, and a neti pot
I'm back from my two week trip out of town. I got back Sunday, actually. I've been too lazy to write about it all until now. Instead of writing a big long explaination of each week I'm just going to lay down the simplistics of each week.
My first week was spent in the Bay Area. I was at my aunt's house the first day because I was invited to a going away party for my older cousin's girlfriend (she lives in Brazil). That was fun, and I got to meet my (favorite) cousin Adrian's friend Gavin. We messed around and I watched them practice skateboarding. I went home with my cousin Adrian, and I did crazy things with him until I went back to my aunt's on Thursday. Thursday was the day my mom took me out shopping to get ready for my cousin Lindsay's wedding. My aunt Kimi cut my hair for free at her hair salon and I got some awesome shoes and a nice $6 vest that no one bothered to pick up at a dry cleaner. Then the wedding day came and I did a lot of dancing and had fun. Finally it was time to leave.
After a 3 hour drive, my mom dropped me off at a market near my friend's house and then I met up with some other friends and we went to his house. It was late so I got some sleep. In the morning I was ready for the great adventure that we were going to go on. That adventure was camping at Salt Point (north of Mendicino). There's not a whole lot to say. We had to put up our tent that ended up literally being held up by a single branch and a stake, we played a lot of board and card games (Risk, poker, Go, Clue, and some other stuff (I won poker once by playing blind, BTW)), we ate a lot of food, my friend Matt got drunk on his birthday, we went walking a lot, messed around with crabs by the ocean. Yeah, most of the time it was very cold and windy. Also the nearby bathrooms were violated. Some guy peed all over the toilet paper and threw all the paper towels in the toilets. I think he even did some nasty things to the sink. It was disgusting.
Overall both weeks were incredibly fun and both had their relaxing and exausting qualities.
In other news. I was browsing around Instructables.com last night when I stumbled upon this.
Interested, I asked my mom (who was heading out to do her Raley's night shift) to pick up one of those Neti Pots that the guy was using. She did and I ended up getting this one.
I used it almost immediately after getting it. I was a little intimidated by the thought of water traveling through one nostril and out the other but I decided to give it a shot. Let me tell you, it didn't hurt at all. For the first two seconds I had that feeling you get when water goes up your nose when you're swimming, but that was it. After that it was really easy and almost calming. My nose isn't completely cleared up yet but I definately feel less congested than I used to be. Apparently it takes about three days of use to feel a huge difference. So I'm hoping that I'll feel far less congested than I used to be and hopefully I can concentrate more.

THE 9TH DAY OF WAITING
Uhh... today I was really impatient waiting for my GCN controller, which still hasn't arrived yet. It was also another day of my lazily sitting infront of my computer using the internet and doing other pointless things. As pointless as it all sounds, I did discover something awesome in the video game world, which I haven't been as excited about since I was waiting for Brawl.
Chrono Trigger DS
Yes, Chrono Trigger for the DS. I'm so ready for this! I love you Square! First you make The World Ends With You and now this. Thank you so much for giving me reasons to play my DS other than my Japanese import Mother 3.
Also. What gives Blogger? The image inserting tool is missing and I want to put a bunch of images on this post. Oh well, maybe some other day when it decides to show its face.
Also today, I was bored and stumbled upon something on the internet called a Hipster PDA. Now, I have an iPhone. But seriously, a Hipster PDA is so much more useful in some cases. I still love my iPhone to death though. Anyways, a Hipster PDA is basically a stack of 12 or so index cards that are fastened together with a clip. You can use it to write down information, to-do lists, and other random things. A lot of creativity can be put into it to. It can be as useful or as useless as you make it! Now I can conqer anything with the help of my iPhone and my hPDA!
Tomorrow will be the day I get out of the house and go with my mom to Yuba City. Yay! I'm going to try to get a pair of those Skullcandy Lowrider headphones. I'm also going to try to find a Bullet Space Pen to use with my hPDA. And I want to try finding a pair of colorful Nike or Adidas or some other brand hightops. ;o
Well, I'm off! WOOSH!
EDIT: Hmm... Blogger just randomly decided to not work with Opera, I guess. Maybe I should update. Blogger is working fine with Firefox. I'll post pictures tomorrow I guess.

I HATE INSECTS
I've had the most horrifying insect experience that I've had in a long time from last night to right now.
So last night was a night for me like many nights. Sitting in my room, on my mac, playing WCIII or something. Then I look on the floor and I see three inch one of these running at 50MPH under my bed:

Oh god, they're so horrid looking. D:
So yeah, that scared me. But the night was just starting. Shortly before turning off my computer, I saw either the same one or another one run under my bed. "There's two now!?!?" I thought. I decided to look "centipede" up on the internet and I found a picture that looked like the ones I saw. Apparently they're called House Centipedes. Acording to Wikipedia they have some positives and negatives. (read it all here: WIKI CLICKY!)
The most positive thing about them: "House centipedes feed on spiders, bedbugs, termites, cockroaches, silverfish, ants and other household arthropods. They kill their prey by injecting venom through their fangs."
However, for me their horrible looks, lightning fast speed, ability to climb walls and celings, and worst of all, their bite that is equivallent to a "minor bee sting" is enough to override any positives. <_<
Going back to my story. I decided to call it a night but didn't want to go to sleep in my room. I decided to find one of these pests so I could attempt to kill one. I looked under my bed with a flash light and didn't see anything, but then I looked by my dresser and there was one just sitting there. I grabbed a shoe and attempted to hit it but the only thing I saw was a blur of legs and ugly go deep into my closet. I decided that sleeping in my room would be a horrible option so I grabbed a pillow, a blanket, and an uglydoll and slept on the couch. Eeeek... then I woke up and watched TV. Moments later I felt something crawling on my arm, so I reacted by swiping at whatever it was and then I jumped up and there was a freaking wasp on the couch. AEKALFDJFDLE!!! I managed to get my mom to smash its guts out with a fly swatter. Which was very amusing.
And now that I'm done with my horrid insect experience. I'm going to go to something far less ugly. Headphones. Yes, again. I guess I'm obsessed with headphones. Which is funny because I only really use earbuds.
This time I'm going to be buying a pair soon. Why? My mom took my favorite pair of earbuds. They're Koss ones with foam things. They have amazing bass and sound and they're comfortable to wear for long periods of time. No wonder she took them. So yeah, instead of getting another pair of them I decided to buy some portable headphones that I can rest on my neck because I don't like having to take my earbuds on and off when I'm at a Brawl tournament. It's hard to get them in and out and they block out too much sound when I need to hear what people are saying to me.
The first pair I like is the Zumreed Sfit Color Headphones (White):

They look pretty cool, and according to reviews they sound good and are well built. They're a bit pricy at $50 though. Here's the link: Ooh, nice.
Next up is the pair I will probably end up getting, the Skullcandy Lowrider

I really, like the red color but I found out while browsing Target.com that they only sell the black color ones in their store:

I'm not sure where else to look for them. These are probably the headphones I will end up getting since they're the most affordable of the bunch I like (the bunch includes headphones listed in previous blog posts by me) So yeah, you can check out the Skullcandy Lowrider headphones here: Delicious
And that's about it! I'm currently anticipating the arrival of my Japanese import white Gamecube controller. Here's a pretty picture of it:

Yeah, it's going to be great. It's a rereleased product because of demand for it after Brawl and other games came out. It has a longer cord than older GCN controllers and the cord is white. I belive it is also is made out of the non-glossy white Wii controller plastic as well. I ordered it on Sunday last week, and it shipped the next day. I got the 8-10 day shipping, so it should be here before Friday.
And that's all!

Brawl Tournament Recap
I'm in my friend Matt's car now heading home from Sacramento. The tournament was fun even though the one person out of the five of us who went beat someone in a best of three. There were 70 people there and my friend Ricky got 13th place. He could've done better, except he got infinite grabbed by the Ice Climbers. Either way it was fun and I can't wait until next week to go again. I'm posting this using my iPhone so I'll get to details when I have a computer infront of me.

COOKING IS SO FUN, COOKING IS SO FUN, NOW IT'S TIME TO TAKE A BREAK AND SEE WHAT WE HAVE DONE:

Mmm... those crepes were so goood D:
That's pretty much all I've done all day... cooked crepes. Yeah, it's sad. Took me an hour or so. But they were worth it. I got to feed my parents and my sister which I don't do often. I usually just eat strawberries and whipped cream but next time I'm going to try making cinnamon caramel apple filling and see how that turns out. Yummo!!
Uh... now I have to clean up my dishes and put away stuff. Then I'm going to take a shower and pack up some things so I can meet my friend Ricky at 6 so we can practice Brawl and I can spend the night at my friend house before we go to a Brawl tournament tomorrow.
That is all! I may post how the tournament went tomorrow night. Depends how I'm feeling. <_<

Whee! I just got back from a Fab Four concert. If you don't know who they are they are essentually Beatles imitations. I must say, they were actaully really good. The concert was fun but I wasn't really diggin' most of the audience. It was composed mostly of people who were in their 60s and up that probably came to hear "When I'm 64". They were all really boring and uninteractive, most of them were getting drunk off of wine and not knowing what is was going on around them. It felt like it was just a big reason for people who drink to get drunk. That makes me angry. ANYWAYS:
Maybe I was a little harsh about the old people, but they were annoying me. D:
Back to the performance, it was really amazing and the Fab Four did an excellent job of mimicing the Beatles. The costumes were great and consisted of black suits, Sgt. Pepper uniforms, and their hippie attire. I wished that I could've taken the Rickenbacker bass they had because it was just so sparkly and awesome, but it was a lefty bass and stealing is badong. Yeah, Beat-Fab Four were awesome and I'd go again, maybe. I still can't get past the boring old people. Plus there were so many songs the band didn't play and they had an "Ed Sullivan" guy that was funny now and then but cut so much music time from the actual show. So you could say the whole thing was very Las Vegas styled. So yeah, that's my quick though jotted review of the whole thing.
After I got home I found a white box on the table. "What is this?" I thought. I walked up to it and saw this on the top:

Being excited like a little child on Christmas day, I was eager to open it up. So I grabbed a knife and sliced up the tape. Inside was a bunch of packing peanuts and an awesome little white box with a red ribbon tied around it that had a tag addressed to "PK Kids Productions".

This made me supper happy! So I took it out and opened it to find an awesome little resin Fobby. It's so amazing!

I want to thank SM.Net for being awesome! As part of PK Kids Productions I would like to say many thanks and give Starmen.net many awesome points and kudos! You guys deserve it.

It's a new day and it's 1:30 or something. <_<
Uhh... so far it has been somewhat eventful. I woke up and made some crepes. I was happy with how they tasted but I think I should've made the batter thinner because it wasn't spreading around the pan fast enough before it began to harden. The result turned out to be smaller crepes than I wanted. But whatever, they were delicious! I put strawberries, chocolate syrup, and whipped cream in mine. I might make more tomorrow morning.
Also I lied, I don't think I'm going to take any photos today. I'm feeling too lazy to clean my room so no room photos. I also have acne problems today and I don't want to take pictures of my bumpy face. I should wash my face more often, that's a proven fact.
Blah blah, card games, blah.
Um... I really like this bag!!! :O

Isn't it awesome cake! Here's a link with the details: Kaja Kaja Goo!
Amazon sent my family a $25 gift card for spending money on their site or with their credit card or something... So my mom wants to buy a CD. I'm thinking if it's alright with her about getting a Kaela Kimura CD called "Jasper". I've been into J-Pop/rock/punk/electronica/whatever lately.
I've been feeling like I'm very un-American lately. Maybe it's just the town I live in, it's basically a small town in California.
Anyways, I'm going to finish this blog post up and do stuff like play The World Ends With You or something. ;o

I'm not evern going to complain about how long it has been since I last updated this blog. So, going straight to the meat of this blog...
As of the end of school, last month, I graduated! Woo hoo! Now it's summer break time and I'm trying to figure out if I want to continue relaxing (doing nothing) or if I should get a summer job. Either way, when summer is over I plan on going to a local college and taking some basic stuff. I plan on doing that for two years and then I'm thinking about going to a college in Emeryville with my friends. I belive it's called "Ex'Pression". It looks like a great place for the graphic artist in me.
I'm hardly into the month and I already have a lot of crap. I got like... 5 games (Killer 7, Shadow of the Colossus, Link's Crossbow Training, Zack & Wiki, and The World Ends With You), a new 22" widescreen LCD for my mac, one of those awesome flat aluminum keyboards for my mac, and some minor stuff here and there. I friggin' love my Mac even more. It's only a G4, but I have this awesome screen and keyboard to use with it and now I just hate using the PC.
Now that I'm done talking about what I got, here's smething I would love to get. Guess what? they're headphones!!! :O

These ones are different. Not only do they look great, they work with the iPhone. And not in the "oh, we made the aux jack small enough to fit in the poorly designed slot" way. They have a microphone/button on them so I can use them as an alternative to the ones that came with my phone. Yay for hands free talking! You can check them out here: !!!
I belive that's it for this post! Tomorrow I'm going to make crepes. I'm going to call tomorrow "photo day" because I'm going to take a lot of pictures of my face to put together something for my deviantART. I'll also try to take pictures of my crepe adventure. I may also snap some shots of my room to put on my dA. I think it looks snazzy enough to be considered somewhat artistic.

Heh, it's been a while since I've done anything here. <_<;;
Well, I've been living the same week, pretty much..
Sun - Church, go home, go online, check Wii channels.
Mon, Wed, Fri - Wake up, do school, go online, check Wii Virtual Console games (Monday only), check Wii channels, wait until 11PM for Brawl Dojo update.
Tue, Thurs - Go to classes, talk to friends, go home, go online, check Wii channels, wait until 11PM for Brawl Dojo update.
Sat - Get up, go online, check Wii channels, complain about the internet being boring.
There's also the occasional friend's house on the weekends.
Yup. Not very exciting. It's gotten to the point where Saturdays are my least favorite days, which is strange. They used to be my favorites. Anyways, it all boils down to this one thing:
I want Super Smash Brothers Brawl!
And now it's time for another edition of "The Greed Corner" where I, Shawn, post links to things I see on the internet and desire possesion of :D

These headphones are awesome looking. I love the dot pattern on the leather. I have a hard time deciding if I like the green or the light blue ones the most. They're both great looking. Link: POKE!!!

Oh yes! This bag is nice! (I can see me getting the beige color with those green headphones). *ahem*
Yes, I really like this messenger baorg. I just wish I had money for these things. Link: MON!!!
Speaking of money, I need a job. But I can't drive and don't have anyone with a free scedual to drive me when I need to be taken places. Thankfully this will be over soon. I'm going to be taking a driver's ed/training course on the 24th! Wish me luck! I have no idea how harsh it will be and how long it will take. I really want to be able to drive so I don't have to be dependant on my working parents to drive me places like my friend's house and to stores just to buy a new game that I've been anticipating.
In other news, I'm about 85% sure when I get a new phone around the very end of March that I will be getting an iPhone. I love you Apple! You have given me the much needed freedom from the evils that is Windows (I still like you Microsoft, but only for Xbox).
Well that about sums things up for now ^_^;
Whee! 2008!

It's been a while since I've put anything here, heh.
Well, I'm alive and I've been playing JSRF: Jet Set Radio Future on my 360 that I got for my birthday. I've also been waiting to play Super Smash Brothers Brawl.
I got some new strings for my 5-string Steinberger and now it sounds excellent. Way better than when I fist got it with the stock strings. I still want a better amp.
I've recently been interested in Japanese street fashion, but more on the less weird side of the spectrum. I like most of the stuff on http://www.style-arena.jp/index_e.htm
While looking through all the stuff, I stumbled upon a girl with these headphones, and now I really want a pair but can't find any:

If anyone knows, please tell me where I can buy a pair online :S
I looked around a little and found these, which are kinda square but not exactly what I'm looking for. I like them though:

You can look at them here:
CLICK!!!
Going back to that site, here are some outfits I like with comments:

I REALLY like this guy's outfit. Especially the jacket, and the way he's wearing it. I want his jacket!!! His hair is pretty slick too. It's hard to tell from that one photo, but he has some neat sunglasses, they're all round and bubbly, yeah! Awesome!
I'll do one more for now because my dialup internet is being slow and images are taking an ungodly ammount of time to load...

The parts of this outfit that I like are the jacket, the hat, the shirt, the tie and the belts. I'm not a big fan of leather boots, but they look nice on him. I've never seen a blazer with fur on the back-collar before, it actually works.
So yeah, that's it for this post! See ya on the flip side, wherever that is <_<;;

Woo! I haven't posted anything interesting in here for a long time. I have no excuse. Well, I am lazy and forget to do things, so I guess I do then.
Lately I've been drawing and making art and stuffs for my deviantART. I believe I have a link to my dA account on the right side of my blog.
I've also been um... eating Vanillamynt Myntz, they taste really awesome and make my mouth feel clean, yum.
Uhm... I'm currently anxious to get my copy of Mother 3 in the mail. I ordered it on the 5th of this month with 7 day shipping (not including business days)and it's the 16th. The game shipped on the 10th. So I guess I'll get the game either tomorrow or Wednesday.
Speaking of Wednesday, I have to go to star testing on that day. I hate star testing because I usually get all brain locked when I have to do the Math section... then I have to wait a long time for my parents to pick me up. But this year, this year I have a cell phone, bwahaha! So I don't have to wait 3 hours this time for my parents to pick me up when I finish early.
Hrm... I've been playing and obsessing about Earthbound again lately. I got a hat that looks a lot like Ness' hat, only the button on top is blue and not white, and the size adjuster is red and not blue. But whatever, those are small details that only nitpickers (like me) notice.
I also don't think I look all that magical in a baseball cap. Maybe it's just me though. Tomorrow, I'm going to Auburn because my mom has a doctors appointment and I'm going to look around at Ross for new clothing to buy. I'm going to first look for a yellow/purple or yellow/blue striped shirt so I can dress more like Ness. Muahah!
And that's it for me talking about stuff about me. That's what you get when you read my blog.

Hmm... the whole thing about me not posting here in over a month is a lie! Yes, a lie, you can just forget about hearing anything like that.
*cough*
So anyways, not much new has been going on with me. I've mostly been doing school all week, and then going to one of my friends' houses on the weekend. It's been really great actually.
And also, my friends Matt and Ricky and I have been getting more into the Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament scene out in Sacramento. We went to this tournament last week in Modesto, it was a two and a half hour drive, but wow was it worth it:
http://smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=96448&page=1
Currently I'm trying to convince Matt to drive Ricky and I to this tournament:
http://smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=99608
That one will be about an hour and a half worth of driving, much easier on the gas and time.
Hmm... today I spent my time watching TV, playing SSBM, and putting a clear coat of paint on my controller to make it less sticky. Tomorrow I'm going to clean off my controller and put it back together, here's hoping it all goes well ^_^
So that's about it. Video games, music, school, and friends. Woot!

Wow! It's been like... two weeks since I've last posted here.
That's what happens when I forget about things and become lazy :/
Well, quite a lot of eventful stuff has happened since I last posted stuff here:
I'm going to put things in chronological order, so first...

Yes, that's right, I haven't forgotten, and to make up for not putting it up late this month, here's TWO things I made:
First, we have my lovely supposed-to-be-duct-tape-wallet-but-really-is-made-out-of-masking-tape-and-some-
orange-painters-tape-to-add-a-awesome-trippy-effect-to-the-boring-masking-tape. The wallet also has some change between the tape, it looks kinda cool I think, and it makes it worth more money! >_>

Yeah, cool, isn't it? That picture on my ID is REALLY old, about 6 or more years old.
And I didn't make the thing that it's in, that was from my old wallet, I just took that out and taped it into my current wallet. Also I'll explain the icons on it.
From top left going to the right:
Dragon Written Japanese: My zodiac sign is the dragon because I was born in 1988. I'm really happy with the dragon sign too because I like dragons :o
Armored Frog: Some people know me as the smelly Armored Frog, or Smelly Yomon. I like the armored frog because he looks all cool and laid-back, kinda like me. He's also from Earthbound, which is my favorite game series that needs more recognition in America.
Cross: To represent my religion.
Tri-force I'm not really a huge Zelda fan, but I like Zelda quite a bit, so I put the Tri-force there.
Bass Clef If you know about me, you know I LOVE to play the bass guitar. So this is to represent my love for bass.
Lacuna Coil Band Logo One of my favorite band's logo.
Apple Logo I like Apple's company and their logo is kinda cool, so I put it there. However I am a PC user :o
Jigglypuff Yay! Jigglypuff, my favorite Pokemon, and one of my best characters in Super Smash Brothers: Melee
Libra Scales Represents me being a Libra, I normally don't believe in that whole horoscope thing... But I read descriptions about Libras and wow, I'm totally like that, so why not put the scales to help show my personality?
And now the my second creation/project/thing... I painted my GCN controller white, yay! Pictures:

Not much to say. I think it came out pretty awesome, better than I expected. All I used was a can of Krylon Fusion Gloss White Plastic Paint. It worked wonders, no sanding or priming needed! ^_^
*end creations by Shawn*
Next is the new couch my mom bought, it's nice because our last couch got really dirty, old, and uncomfortable. And after like... 10 years that's believable. So this couch is nice because it looks nice, it's comfortable, it has three seats, and it reclines :D

Yay! It is so nice. Um... yeah, and there's a puppy on there. So now to talk about that...
Today my sister got a male Pomeranian/Terrier mix puppy (the internet calls them Pom Terriers), it cost $300 and she is paying $100 of that, my parents are paying the rest. My sister named it Cooper because she wants a Mini Cooper, and it's a mini dog, so I think it works. I gave it the middle name Jackson
because his right paw is white, so it kinda looks like Micheal Jackson's style with the one white glove. Here are some cute puppy pictures of him, and one picture with me in it:

OMG! IT'S ME! HOLDING A PUPPY! HOW CUTE?! Oops, caps. Um... chicks probably dig guys with puppies so that's a cool picture! :D
So yeah, that's about it. A lot of stuff can happen in two weeks o_o

Wow, what a day. I bought some paint yesterday to start up my gamecube controller painting project. Although I didn't paint any of it yesterday because I couldn't open it. So instead I ordered a tri-wing screwdriver.
So today, I decided to paint the plug end of my GCN controller, since I just have to tape off all the stuff around it. Pretty easy. And I did so outside.
As I was doing that, my sister and mom left to go to my sister's dentist appointment.
When I was done painting the controller plug, I went to go back in the house. The door was locked. So... I went into the garage to get the spare key or go in through the garage door. The garage door was locked, and there was no spare key. So I grabbed long stick-like objects and stuck my arm through the doggy door trying to push the lock thing around. No success. After 20 minutes of doing this, I gave up and went to paint the second layer of paint on my controller plug. Then after doing that. I went back to try getting in through the garage.
To make a long story short. I ended up waiting two hours for my mom and sister to get home. Then I cleaned up the mess of sticks and stuff I knocked down trying to get in through the garage.
The rest of the day I spent playing LoZ1 on the Wii VC. And then I watched American Idol and lastly chatted and posted on forums the rest of the day.
Wii!

Yum yum yum! My sister just made an caramel apple cheesecake pie. [teengirlsquad]It looks SOOOO GOOD![/teengirlsquad] O_O
So um... while I eat a slice (or two) of this delicious pie. Here's a couple of pictures for you to salivate over:
Before the slicing:

After, it's so gooey that it looses it's pie shape when you scoop it off the pie dish:

Yes. Delicious :D
*munch munch*
MUNCH!!!! O_O
Yummm... sugar... *die*
